Sneeuwtraining, maandag 20 december 2010 Snow Training, Monday, December 20, 2010

Op maandag 20 december 2010 had de HRR de avondtraining afgelast in verband met overvloedige sneeuw en vermoedelijk een verwacht verkeersinfarct en risico dat mensen vallen. On Monday, December 20, 2010 HRR had canceled the evening training associated with abundant snow and probably an expected traffic nightmare and risk of people falling. Met de loopgroep was de conclusie snel getrokken dat in maagdelijke sneeuw bij avondlicht het lopen leuk – heel apart – moet zijn en de kans op het breken van je enkels vrijwel afwezig; je komt zachtjes neer. In the running group, the conclusion was quickly drawn running in virgin snow at dusk would be fun - very special - and the chance to be breaking your ankles almost absent, you come down softly. Twee loopgroepen bleken uiteindelijk een redelijke opkomst te hebben. Two running groups turned out to have a reasonable turnout. De Waalsdorpervlakte en Meijdendel bij avond onder een dik pak sneeuw was inderdaad zoals verwacht: een mooi gezicht, lekker koud. Langs SHAPE (TNO), de klok en dan een groot rondje om de boerderij van Meijendel. Along SHAPE (TNO), the clock and then a big circle around the farm Meijendel. Uurtje. Refreshments. Dikke pret. Great fun.

Tijdens de daarop volgende nooit te missen borrel met paprika chips en .. During the consecutive inevitable drink afterwards: peppered chips and .. kwam weer eens ter sprake hoe leuk lopen kan zijn (gek hè, zeggen ze altijd daar). it was once again mentioned how much fun running can be (crazy huh, they always say there). Dat, als je maandelijks een marathon wil lopen, in januari er toch echt niets is en het altijd aanwezige alternatief: over het strand vanaf Den Haag Noord naar Noordwijk, koffie en terug. Along 45 km. Nadeel: telt niet voor de 100MC: wedstrijd, openbare inschrijving, uitgemeten parcours, minstens 3 inschrijvingen. With .. en paprika chips steeg de stemming in de groep verder, 'dan organiseren we er toch zelf één', 'doen', 'kan wel, kan niet', 'mag wel, mag niet', 'doen we lekker toch', 'humor', 'hoe moet die dan heten', '…', '…', 'zwarte marathon', '..', '…' en vervolgens nog veel .. and peppered chips increased in the group vote on, "we'll arrange it ourselves ',' do it ',' maybe, can not ',' maybe, should not ',' do it, we like it ',' would be fun', ' then how is that run called, "" ...
